Responsibilities
- Ideate on new UX concepts and product features.
- Formulate testing scripts and participate in usability studies.
- Understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative data as it pertains to UX.
- Create all required deliverables across the UX/UI process. (User flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, etc.)
- Design highly creative and intuitive user interfaces tailored to our diverse user groups.
- Architect and design experiences that follow responsive design and accessibility standards (A11y) and best practice.
- Work within and manage an evolving design system & component library.
- Present and demonstrate UX/UI to managers and key stakeholders.
- Hand off designs and clearly communicate with developers for implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must have a strong online portfolio featuring examples of UX/UI design across the entire UX process.
- Bachelor’s Degree in user experience or related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working in UI/UX design, digital product design, interactive design, or similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail
- Excited by new technology and eager to develop new skills.
- Highly collaborative, team focused approach to working with others.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Highly proficient in Figma
- Strong knowledge in accessibility for product design
Preferred
- Experience developing solutions in the EdTech space, for teachers and students.
- Familiar with Agile, sprint driven, development.
- Strong visual designer
- Working knowledge in; Jira, Sketch, UserTesting/UserZoom, ZeroHeight, Photoshop, Illustrator and Storybook
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
